Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (Entry-Level)

Location: Schiller Park, IL

Pay: $22+ per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 2nd Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team in Schiller Park. As an entry-level member of our machine shop, you will receive hands-on training to operate computer-controlled machinery and precision tools. This is a great opportunity to start a career in manufacturing with a supportive, 50-person team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Machine Operation : Safely operate CNC machinery and general shop equipment, including drill presses and sandblasting units.
• Finishing Work : Utilize hand-held grinding tools and power tools to finish parts to specific standards.
• Quality Inspection : Check finished parts for quality and accuracy using job documentation and precision measurement tools.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all shop safety rules and company guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Shop Support : Handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced "job shop" environment.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Mechanical Aptitude : Proficiency or comfort using various hand and power tools.
• Metal Production : Previous experience in a metal production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Willingness to Learn : Ability to follow technical documentation and learn machine setup processes.
• Education : No High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
