Title: Electrical Systems Designer Type: Direct Hire Hours: Full-Time / On-site Pay: 100K-130K - DOE Responsibilities Serve as a key design team member, managing electrical systems development and coordination for construction projects. Produce accurate and timely deliverables, including basis of design narratives and construction design documents compliant with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IECC, IBC, LEED, etc.). Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to identify project requirements and present recommendations. Stay updated on trends and technology in electrical systems through communication with manufacturers and contractors. Oversee and perform construction administration tasks to ensure successful project outcomes. Qualifications Proven expertise in designing electrical systems, including lighting and control, power distribution, HVAC coordination, food service equipment coordination, and fire alarm systems. Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, COMcheck, and applicable energy codes. Familiarity with NEC and NFPA code standards. Strong organizational, logic, and reasoning skills to translate concepts into deliverables. Proficiency with Excel, OneNote, Word, and related software tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
