Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Compensation RAnge: $22 - $24 per hour based on experience
Work Schedule : - Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: OFF
- Thursday: 12:30 PM - 7:00 PM ( hour lunch)
- Friday: 7:30 AM -3:00 PM
Qualifications: - Prior Dental Assistant experience 2-4 years Required
- Prior experience making crown temps, packing cord, placing matrix bands preferred
- Working experience with Dentrix highly preferred
- Itero camera / Itero scan experience preferred
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
Key Responsibilities - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
