STARTING RATE : Commission + $12.00 hr, downtime hourly rate only.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT : 18 years old

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION : State of Nevada Board of Cosmetology Manicurist License.

JOB SUMMARY :

Provide all phases of nail care including, but not limited to, pedicures, manicures, and artificial nails.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

Must have minimum one (1) year licensed experience required. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1. Advise guests and team members on how to best care for the needs of their feet and hands. Provide analysis and consultation as to which nail shape and color will most accentuate their features.

1. Provide and sell retail products that are most favorable to maintain the health and beauty of their nails and skin.

1. Consistently work alongside fellow team members in a positive, professional, and productive manner.

1. Keep work area clean, neat and organized.

1. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS :

• Provide exceptional quality of service.

• Have eye contact with all guests, speak in a pleasant tone and always have appropriate body language.

• Be skillful and knowledgeable.

• Understand the needs and wants of the guest and surpass them.

• Be courteous and professional at all times.

• Anticipate guest needs in advance.

• Responsiveness, respond quickly to guest's requests and problems.

• Any failures must be rectified and kept as transparent as possible.

• Make an effort to hear and understand the guest and communicate clearly with them.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Frequent exposure to natural, organic, or chemically produced products that encompasses all supplies used and stored at any given time in the Spa or Salon for services. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., with contagious diseases or irritant chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, coats, boots, goggles, gloves, or shields. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
