Job Description

Our client, a telecomm leader, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of digital entertainment experiences across web, mobile, and connected TV platforms. This role will focus on designing intuitive, scalable, and high-quality user experiences that drive content discovery, engagement, and subscription growth.

• Duration: 3months
• Rate: $60hr-70hr based on experience
• Location: Remote
• Hours: PST hours

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design for key product areas—from discovery and onboarding to playback and account management
• Create user-centered solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI design
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Content teams to define and deliver best-in-class experiences
• Translate complex systems (content, personalization, subscriptions) into simple, intuitive user journeys
• Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across platforms (web, mobile, TV)
• Use data, testing, and user insights to inform design decisions and continuously optimize experiences
• Present work to stakeholders and clearly articulate design rationale and trade-offs

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8+ years of experience in product design (consumer-facing digital products preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, systems design, and high-quality visual craft
• Experience designing for content-rich platforms (streaming, media, eCommerce, or similar)
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Experience working within or contributing to design systems
• Strong understanding of user journeys, information architecture, and interaction design
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence product direction

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming, OTT, or media platforms (content discovery is a big plus)
• Familiarity with personalization, recommendation systems, or search UX
• Experience designing for TV interfaces (10-foot experience)
• Comfort working in data-driven environments (A/B testing, analytics)
