About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scale House Operator to join our team in the Mining, Quarrying, and Oil and Gas Extraction industry. As a Scale House Operator, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and the timely delivery of our products to our customers. Compensation $45,000 – $52,000 annually, depending on experience. Opportunities for training and advancement into full-time Scale House operations are available. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or oil and gas industry Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory management software Familiarity with safety regulations in the mining or oil and gas industry Ability to operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts or loaders Responsibilities Weigh and record incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety regulations Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communicate with drivers and other team members as needed Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the scale house and surrounding areas Assist with inventory management and other administrative tasks as needed Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and environmental regulations Skills As a Scale House Operator, you will use your strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities to accurately weigh and record incoming and outgoing trucks, maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with drivers and other team members. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
