Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization (Work from Home-Hawaii) Overview Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization (Work from Home-Hawaii) Responsibilities Process and communicate prior authorization referrals for Specialty and Non-Specialty medications as reviewed by the Case Review Unit. Collaborate with Customer Service, Benefits Verification and Pharmacy Operations to communicate referral status and determinations. Handle fax processing and provide telephone assistance for prescriber office staff, pharmacies and members according to program criteria. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all appropriate information. Work closely with the Case Review Unit Clinician team for clinical support on daily functions. Other duties may be assigned by the leadership team. Schedule 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM HST Required Qualifications Must be Hawaii resident 1 year experience in customer service or call center environment Must be able to work from home, this is a 100% work from home position Have wired high speed internet Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare industry. Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s Degree. Education High School Diploma or equivalent GED Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Benefits Our people fuel our future.
