Children's Mercy is seeking a fellowship trained pediatric surgeon/transplant surgeon or a general surgeon with additional training and interest in pediatric transplant surgery to join our professional staff. Our surgical team provides comprehensive tertiary care in a multi-disciplinary, family-centered care environment. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our excellent team of surgeons and staff to assist us in growing our liver and kidney transplant services.
The Brendan Tripp Elam Transplant Center at Children's Mercy Kansas City was established in 2014. The CMS approved pediatric Heart, Liver and Kidney Transplant programs come together with the goal of obtaining national recognition in solid organ transplant, with a reputation that fosters and advances the scientific and industry knowledge base of organ transplantation.
