Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a part-time (.5 FTE) position in Marysville, WA. This is an in-person role supporting students at the high school level, with a flexible schedule currently being finalized.

Assignment Details

• Caseload: High school 
• Provide 1:1 support to a student initially one day per week for a few hours
• Support additional Special Education students and classrooms during remaining hours
• Goal is to gradually increase the student’s time on campus

Schedule

• Approx. 0.5 FTE (part-time)
• Specific days/times (AM vs PM) are still being determined
• Flexibility is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Provide 1:1 support and assist with student reintegration into the school environment
• Collaborate with SPED staff, general education teachers, and support teams
• Support multiple classrooms and students as needed
• Track progress and maintain required documentation

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Special Education License and Certification (required)
• Experience in high school settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and adaptability skills

Additional Information

• In-person role only (no virtual option)
• High hourly rate for part-time flexibility
• Urgent need—interviews are being scheduled immediately 

Pay

• $40-50/hour depending on credentials and experience
