Job Summary
Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is looking for a highly organized, mission-driven professional to serve as the operational backbone of our Service Center.
As our Office Administrator, you'll be the go-to person who keeps office operational, the payroll running, the staff informed, and our camps supported — all while representing the values that have made Girl Scouts a trusted institution for over a century.
Your responsibilities span five core areas: Administration & Executive Support, Finance, Payroll & Human Resources, Retail & Inventory Management, Properties & Facilities, Backup & As-Needed Support for Development and Programs
Job Qualifications
Required: 5+ years of progressive administrative or operations experience; Demonstrated payroll experience (Paylocity strongly preferred); Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote); Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities independently; Excellent written and verbal communication; Board-level correspondence experience a plus; Valid Florida driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance; Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field; Experience in a nonprofit, youth-serving, or mission-driven organization; Familiarity with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and/or Salesforce; Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred given the communities we serve; Openness to learning emerging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) — no experience required, just curiosity
