Job Summary

Help us get the beverages Colorado celebrates with to every customer. High Country Beverage, a family-owned distributor, is hiring an Order Selector for our Johnstown facility. No prior warehouse experience is required; we offer comprehensive training for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and capable of meeting the physical demands of the role. This position operates Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., offering consistent Friday and Saturday days off and freeing up your days for family, errands, or a second job.

Responsibilities

• Selecting Customer Orders: Use an armband-mounted mobile device with a wireless ring scanner to pick orders from racks and bulk lanes.
• Pallet Optimization: Efficiently build secure, well-balanced pallets to ensure product stability during transit and damage-free delivery to customers.
• Staging & Preparation: Secure completed pallets with shrink-wrap and stage them in designated outbound shipping lanes.
• Operate Equipment: Safely operate electric pallet jacks. (Complimentary, in-house forklift certification is provided on the clock once you are ready to advance.)
• Maintain a Safe Work Area: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Team Dependability: The team depends on each other. Being reliable matters more to us than prior warehouse experience.

• Pay: $21.10 to $23.40 per hour, based on experience

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to report to work reliably and maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 30 pounds and safely handle heavier items, including kegs weighing up to 160 pounds. Material handling equipment (hand-trucks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts) is used to move kegs and pallets.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing applicable background screenings, a post-offer physical examination, and drug screening consistent with company policy and applicable law.
