The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overall maintenance and plant and equipment maintenance. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager performs heavy repairs; manufacturing machine repairs; robotics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing repairs as necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
• Responsible for coordinating and implementing the overall maintenance program, which includes ensuring that equipment is on the preventive maintenance program and that schedules are valid, thorough, and completed according to the system schedule.
• Supervise and direct the maintenance crew to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, electrical, fabrication, plumbing, and welding functions.
• Participate as a member of the safety committee to ensure all items associated with the plant and mechanical safety are addressed in a timely manner.
• Schedule and coordinate with maintenance crew to conduct routine fault-finding, testing, replacements, isolation, modifications, inspections, improvements, installations, maintenance and repairs of all electrical services, plant and equipment in compliance with good practice guidelines.
• Interpret and work with specifications and drawings to ensure that maintenance projects are scheduled and completed timely, within set dates and times, and efficiently to minimize waste and downtime.
• Keep and analyze reports related to the maintenance program and results of maintenance and repair projects to improve efficiency and limit equipment downtime.
• Safeguard and make decisions related to maintenance project spending to ensure expenses are within maintenance requirement and company established standards.
• Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of maintenance software program.
• Conduct selective inventory monthly of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance technicians according to their abilities and limitations.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
• Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform maintenance function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime when necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED; plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions will be required. Must either have current Arc Flash certification or be able to obtain training for certification.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
• Industrial Maintenance Certifications / Programs / Training
• Manage, supervise, coordinate and direct Maintenance Department personnel
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and instruction books.
• Knowledge of computer and automated machines.
• Strong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and it is required that you wear hearing protection.
