Summary

Join our nature-based, play-based, high quality early childhood program!

We seek innovative, professional, reliable candidates with good communication skills, a willingness to learn, a strong interest in developing meaningful professional relationships with children and their families, and collaborating effectively with coworkers. Philosophy and pedagogy must align with keeping play and nature central in the life of a child.

Duties

Professionally lead an early childhood classroom, in partnership with a CoTeacher, and as part of a teaching team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's (or higher) Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), HDFS, Child Study, or EC Special Ed.
• Ability to work well with others.
• A strong understanding of child development, planning, and assessing.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation, CT ELDS and DOTS.
