Midpoint Chevrolet Buick GMC Parts Manager

Join Midpoint Chevrolet Buick GMC as a Parts Manager in Rocky Mount, VA. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, exceptional customer service, and effective collaboration with service and sales teams. Your leadership will be key to maintaining optimal parts availability to support the dealership's service operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the parts inventory to maximize availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Lead and train a team of parts staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with service and sales departments to forecast parts needs and manage orders.
• Monitor supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Ensure timely and accurate record keeping, including parts sales and inventory systems.
• Implement strategies to increase parts department profitability.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in parts management, within a dealership.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of General Motors parts and service practices is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
