Title: Assistant Project Manager
Summary: This position is responsible for tracking funding, seeking grants, managing grants, and assisting the Executive Director. Provides on-going management of business office and receptionist office.
Qualifications:
1. AA Degree in accounting/business related field or qualified work experience.
2. Business, bookkeeping, or accounting training/education.
3. One year accounting experience preferred.
4. Knowledge in developing, organizing, and maintaining filing and accounting systems.
5. No evidence of alcohol/drug abuse for minimum of one year. If history of chemical dependency exists, abstinence is required.
Skills:
1. Typing proficiency.
2. Accounting/Bookkeeping ability.
3. Filing capability.
4. Office management ability.
5. Mathematical aptitude.
6. Ability to use office machines to include typewriter, calculator, personal computer, FAX.
7. High level of human relations skills.
8. Ability to express self clearly and concisely in both oral and written form.
9. Ability to use Excel Proficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. File records, charts, and other documents.
2. Complete and file monthly, quarterly, yearly financial, and statistical reports.
3. Maintain bookkeeping system in compliance with agency, state, and federal requirements.
4. Maintain budget reports, collect fees, and other duties consistent with good bookkeeping practices.
5. Assist and support Medicaid billing and record keeping.
6. Maintain records within agency, state and federal policies and standards.
7. Develop knowledge of community agencies for client services.
8. Participate in program planning, evaluation, and development.
9. Responsible to Executive Director for evaluation of job performance.
10. Maintain client confidentiality.
11. Perform other directives issued by the Financial Officer.
12. Perform other directives issued by the Executive Director.
Supervision:
Supervised by Executive Director, Financial Officer.
Salary/Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
