Estate Manager

Private UHNW Waterfront Estate | Upper Florida Keys

Overview

A private ultra-high-net-worth waterfront estate in the Upper Florida Keys seeks an accomplished Estate Manager to lead the full scope of residential operations, service delivery, and property stewardship for a 9-bedroom primary residence.

This is a foundational hire as the estate continues to build its operational infrastructure. The Estate Manager will play a critical role in establishing systems, setting service standards, and shaping the property's long-term success.

The estate is occupied approximately eight months per year , with elevated guest activity and entertaining during peak periods.

The Estate Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of the residence , including interior operations, exterior oversight, vendor coordination, and elevated guest services.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who can execute daily responsibilities and put structure, processes, and standards in place as the estate evolves.

Core Responsibilities

Estate & Property Management

  • Full stewardship of residence, grounds, and all property systems
  • Daily property walkthroughs to ensure readiness, presentation, and functionality
  • Establishment of operational systems, manuals, and service protocols
  • Oversight of preventative maintenance schedules and capital projects
  • Vendor sourcing, coordination, and performance management

Household Operations

  • Oversight and execution of housekeeping, organization, and presentation
  • Laundry, wardrobe care, and linen management

  • Inventory control and provisioning systems
  • Development of efficient workflows and long-term operational structure

Hospitality & Guest Services

  • Delivery of high-level hospitality and guest services with a refined, intuitive approach
  • Anticipation of principal and guest needs with minimal direction
  • Coordination of arrivals, departures, and airport transfers
  • Event preparation, service execution, and post-event reset
  • Creating a seamless, welcoming, and discreet environment

Kitchen & Provisioning

  • Light cooking and meal preparation as needed
  • Grocery shopping and household provisioning
  • Maintenance of kitchen organization and standards

Grounds &Exterior Oversight

  • Management of landscaping, outdoor presentation, and waterfront elements
  • Coordination of specialized vendors(landscape, marine, mechanical systems)
  • Hands-on support, where appropriate

Service Environment

The estate operates with a hospitality-driven ethos , emphasizing:

As the first key hire , the Estate Manager will help define and uphold these standards across all aspects of the property.

Schedule & Lifestyle

  • Typically 5 days per week , with flexibility
  • Weekend availability required

  • Seasonal variation based on occupancy and guest activity
