Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create an exceptional patient experience while supporting the smooth daily operations of our dental practice. We are a fast paced specialty practice focused on delivering high quality care in a positive, team driven environment. We value accountability, consistency, and individuals who take pride in their work while supporting those around them.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and every other Friday 9am-12pm

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
