Universal Language Service, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Customer Service & Language Specialist (Korean) to join our team. This dual-role position combines real-time over-the-phone and video remote interpretation (OPI/VRI) services with administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Interpretation & Customer Support
Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Korean
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative documentation
Ability to work full-time, on-site (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM PST or 8:30 AM5:30 PM PST)
Prior interpretation experience preferred
Medical DSHS or national interpreter certification/qualification (e.g. NBCMI, CCHI, Other) is a plus (support provided for those seeking DSHS Medical recognition)
Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Human Resources, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, interpretation, or translation
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Bellevue, WA corporate office
Remote work is not permitted
Candidates must pass a full-panel drug and alcohol screening and a national criminal background check
Up to $25 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience
