Accounting Assistant

Our client, a well-established organization in the Ann Arbor area, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join their team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Office department supporting financial operations and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry and basic accounting principles, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Range: $18.00-23.00/hr. - WEEKLY PAY

Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

What's the Job?

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Assist with collections and follow-up on overdue accounts
• Utilize QuickBooks and MS Excel to maintain financial records
• Support bookkeeping and data entry tasks to ensure financial accuracy

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or an accounting related field
• High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree in accounting preferred
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, MS Outlook, MS Office, and MS Excel
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform data entry and invoicing tasks efficiently
